Meet the Maker - T-Lab Bikes

A lot has changed at Savile Road over he past several years, but bespoke bicycles remain at the heart of what we do. In an effort to shine a spotlight on our most valued partners we are continuing our Meet the Maker series, this time around with T-Lab Bikes of Montreal, Quebec, CA. We'd love for you to join us in welcoming Co-Founder Rob Rossi as he makes the trip across the border Thursday evening, January 18th for a presentation and small reception. We'll be greeting guests directly after business hours conclude at 5:30 pm, with Rob's presentation beginning around 6.

Savile Road has been a T-Lab dealer for some time now, and saw the brand gain some serious traction in 2023 on the heels of their acclaimed X3.22 model as well as their Editor's-Choice Award winning X3-S. Oh, and GS Savile Road rider Andrew Nicholas won the 19-34 class at U.S. Gravel Nationals on one (more on that to come!) We're eager to keep that fire lit, and what better time to plan a new custom frame (not to mention talk the benefits of Titanium!) than the soggy, salty off season?

Rob and his team are veterans of the industry, having headed Guru Cycles prior to the inception of T-Lab. Anyone who remembers Guru frames will recall that they were visually striking, and T-Lab are no different in that regard. What has impressed us and our T-Lab customers most,  however, is the unique ride quality afforded by their carefully selected and radically shaped tube sets. Using novel precision forming methods, they are able to produce frames that ride just how they look: unlike anything else. The custom bike community are a truly inspiring bunch, and a very busy one at that. Opportunities to "Meet the Maker" don't often arise outside of the big shows, and we're incredibly excited to continue to host them so that you might catch a glimpse into this world.
